Recently approved Bill C-45 (also known as the Cannabis Act) will legalize recreational marijuana use in Canada as of October 2018. The bill sets the minimum age for buying and carrying cannabis at 18 years, a limit of four plants per residence, and a carry limit of 30 grams. Canadian provinces can set their own restrictions to regulate cannabis consumption and sale within their territories.
